The Great Massachusetts Clean Up day is April 28, 2018, and Mohawk 4x4 Adventures has been invited to participate in cleaning up a remote area the town cannot access without specialized equipment like our off-road vehicles.
We'll have support from local businesses, the town's Conservation Commission and many other partners in achieving our goals. Volunteers will receive lunch and a chance to camp with our vehicles in an area otherwise closed to motorized use. Event tee shirts available on a first come first serve basis during sign in.
We will be meeting in Mashpee, MA at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 28th. Volunteers will sign in for their assignments and get their tee shirts. Quantities are limited.
We have three distinct locations to clean and will have teams set up to quickly locate and remove the trash from areas that require clean up.
Full size pick ups will fit on existing roads and trails we're working on for the most part, and our 4WD rigs will be needed for the sand pits and tighter locations.
We expect to have this completed by 5 p.m. at the latest.
Following the clean up, we will set up camp for volunteers that wish to stay over night before dark. Our camping area will be in sand pits within the conservation land. You do not need to camp to participate, but we hope you take advantage of this opportunity.
Dinner plans include a local micro brewery right down the road.

Our goals are simple: A safe, fun experience and succesful clean up project on sensitive, protected land.
